Sony Corporation of America’s move of its headquarters from 550 Madison Avenue to 11 Madison Avenue included the relocation of many specialty spaces including a screening room, artist lounges, multipurpose rooms, and studios as well as many conference rooms and offices that functioned as listening rooms for record industry senior executives.

International beverage producer Anheuser-Busch renovated 8 floors plus a rooftop terrace to create the new home of AB Inbev on West 24th Street in Manhattan.

The goal for this space was to create an open light-filled space that encouraged collaboration and flexible use of the space. The attractive and fun space aims to attract the brightest employees and provide them an efficient and comfortable work environment.

Interesting highlights include the floor cuts to create the multi-level atrium space connecting the upper stack (photographed above), a lush rooftop garden, multiple tasting rooms, brew lab, and a town hall space on the ground floor with open bleachers. Our work included selection of integrated acoustic treatments which matched the space aesthetics and still provided control of sound in the space, optimized acoustics in AV conference rooms, and control of acoustics at the open bleachers town hall stage.
