10 Halletts Point, the first two buildings of an eight-building project, includes two apartment towers with shared podium. This first phase provides over 400 residential units, sized from studios to two-bedrooms. Longman Lindsey provided the acoustical design for the entire project, including residential amenities, apartments, and environmental noise review.
Amenities include lounge, fitness center with yoga studio, party room chef’s kitchen and outdoor deck. The podium tenants include a 25,000 sf grocery store.
Our services included review of acoustic separation between apartments, as well as analysis of mechanical systems serving the project. Designing to LEED Gold included such features as blackwater recycling plant and high efficiency boilers. We assisted in the analysis of site noise levels and selection of glazing systems to comply with NYC environmental requirements.
