Convene’s largest event venue in New York City has five different spaces, including the divisible Forum, suitable for use as a conference venue, town hall, or social gathering.
Our work included evaluation of sound separation between meeting spaces, both fixed partitions and acoustic performance at operable partitions. We assessed how surface finishes would contribute to speech intelligibility as well as control reverberant sound during bustling social events. Addressing potential noise transmission from mechanical systems was another important contribution from our team.
Longman Lindsey is continuing our relationship with Convene, moving from this incredibly successful full-service event facility to the design of their next space in an iconic Times Square building.
