A new luxury hotel will be opening in Times Square. The world-class hotel will feature 100,000 SF of flagship retail, dining, entertainment, and event space as well as floor to ceiling windows in most of its nearly 500 rooms.
Our acoustical review includes details to ensure sound attenuation between guestrooms according to the owner’s guide. To address the issue of intrusive traffic noise, we surveyed existing conditions and provided recommendations for glazing. We analyzed the proposed mid-rise fitness center to identify noise and vibration control requirements necessary to isolate this space from dining and guest areas. Our design solutions will help create a modern innovative hotel that presents its guests with an experience of the highest quality and understated elegance.
